Lakeview Village Project in Mississauga has transformed lands from a polluting coal – fired power plant, to now home fields of sunflowers attracting bee’s, and much more. Encouraging and helping the environment to create a stronger local wildlife. The sunflowers are expected to last until just before the end of September.
Argo is humbled and honoured to be the recipient of “Best New Community Planned/Under Development for Lakeview Village at this year’s 39th BILD Awards. Once completed Lakeview Village will help distinguish the Mississauga Community from some of the world’s most renowned waterfront developments.
On Wednesday, October 24th, Lakeview Community Partners Limited hosted the third Community Engagement Meeting for Lakeview Village.
With collaboration of the Greater Toronto Area’s leading community builders, the LCPL has been able to successfully see through the transition of a coal-fired power plant into a vibrant and sustainable community as well as a Waterfront Connection. In which the power plant will be reused to form the foundation of the new conservation area, which will allow for waterfront recreation.
In effort to share key details about the Lakeview Master Plan with the community and receive feedback from the community, LCPL (Lakeview Community Partners) hosted a community re – engagement event for the Public.
Five of the Greater Toronto Area’s leading developers have come together in partnership with Ontario’s Minister of Finance and the Mayor of the City of Mississauga to introduce GTA’s next great waterfront community.
We are excited to share that our Lakeview Village site has won the 2020 Brownie Awards in the “Reinvest” Category.
