With 22 years of experience in the Development industry, Aaron has led a broad range of projects that encompass large-scale greenfield communities, award winning Natural Heritage Systems, mid-rise and high-rise sites, as well as infill re-developments throughout the GTA. His strong technical and financial knowledge are complimented by his ability to work with multiple stakeholders to find common ground, resolve issues and move projects forward. Aaron believes that his lifelong approach of doing what is right, even when it is difficult, helps him develop those professional relationships and contribute to the goals of the ARGO team.
Michelle Ryan
Project Accountant
Michelle brings to the team over 15 years of accounting experience in the construction and manufacturing industries. She is a fast-learner, detail-oriented and a true team player. Her keen interest for the industry and pursuit of excellence in all she does will help Argo continue to achieve success in our current and future projects.
Tony Vella
Development Manager
Tony Vella holds his Civil Engineering designation from McMaster University and has extensive experience in project management and construction management, including negotiation, budget management, and design. Tony brings to Argo a keen passion for the industry and supports our growth through leading strategic development projects.

Adine Carter has more than 20 years of experience as a leader in marketing, communication and public relations. She brings to ARGO a wealth of strategic management expertise and is passionate about helping ARGO continue to lead the development industry with vision and integrity. Adrian Marsili
Senior Manager of Acquisitions & Financing
Adrian’s passion for real estate investment and development has helped hone his ability to identify, analyze and evaluate both residential and commercial development opportunities. His experience spans large scale markets involving some of the biggest transactions in both Canada and the U.S., as well as numerous acquisitions across the GTA. His incredible work ethic and ability to get things done help drive ARGO forward in all facets of the business.
Amanda Buck
Development Coordinator
Amanda supports ARGO’s acquisition team as well as new project development in York and Peel regions in the role of Development Coordinator. She is a trained and experienced pilot and aviation instructor with a degree in mathematics and current studies in Urban Land Economics. When the pandemic grounded the travel industry, Amanda brought her sharp mind, analytical expertise, maturity and professionalism to support the team at ARGO.
Amy Roberts

Amy is a Seneca College Honours graduate with experience in all aspects of market research, project coordination, and support of all aspects of the development process. Her ‘can-do’ attitude, ability to manage multiple priorities, and strong organization skills make her a strong asset to the ARGO Halton team.

Andrew is a multi-talented real estate professional with a passion for sustainable land development. He holds an honours specialization degree in urban development from Western University, and has experience with low-rise residential development projects across the GTA. Andrew is committed further developing his knowledge and experience in the field, with the goal of supporting Argo’s continued leadership in the development industry.

Anil joins ARGO with a degree in Urban and Regional Planning, and a passion for land development and real estate. His interest in the complex and multifaceted aspects of land development allows him to support and assist in all aspects of the development process from coordinating with stakeholders and consultants, to managing budgets and gaining development approvals. Anil aspires to use his knowledge, time, and efforts to create complete, sustainable, and inclusive communities through land development projects. He is eager to contribute to the bright future of ARGO.

Babette co-founded ARGO with her husband Gord, building a company on the foundation of trust, integrity and loyalty. Their commitment to fostering a solid and sustainable company that brings great communities to fruition is the driving force behind ARGO’s success. Babette is a key driver of the culture at Argo where the team has become family.

Development Coordinator
Bart is a performance-driven individual with a passion for real estate development and project management. He holds a degree in civil engineering from McMaster University and joins the Argo team with experience coordinating large-scale residential development projects across Southern Ontario. As a diligent team player, Bart aims to contribute to Argo’s continued success and deliver purpose-built and innovative communities to Canada’s fastest growing real estate market.
Brian Sutherland
Vice President
Brian brings over 15 years of experience in the land use planning and development industry. He is adept at managing large landowner groups, obtaining approvals, zoning and site plan applications as well as overseeing successful construction of large scale residential subdivisions. His passion and skill for collaborating with residents, community groups, builders, elected officials, municipal departments and agencies has helped him create exciting, vibrant and successful places for people to live, work and play.

Dino is a real estate and finance professional with over 20 years’ experience in the industry, having held a number of senior roles at some of Canada’s largest financial institutions.
Dino brings keen expertise in finance, negotiation, and land acquisition to his role at ARGO, driving the organization’s growth, in addition to playing a key role on ARGO’s leadership team.

Gord is a leader and veteran in the land development industry. Gord launched ARGO in 1999, based on the values of honesty, transparency, commitment to excellence, and a desire to always do your best. For more than two decades, Gord has been leading ARGO in the creation of vibrant communities across the GTA.
Gord’s strong, long-lasting relationships with vendors, partners, builders, consultants and ARGO team members are a testament to his passion for the industry, and the integrity he brings to work every day.

Henna brings over 15 years of marketing, sales, communications and operations experience with well-known industry leaders in Capital Markets, residential development, construction and manufacturing. From executing high-profile events to managing multiple teams, Henna’s wide breadth of experience, passion for the creative and eye to detail, will help lead ARGO forward as a leader in the Land Development industry.

Jessica has worked in the land development industry for over 15 years and brings a diverse range of experience across mixed-use, high rise, low rise, industrial, office and retail development. She has successfully managed a wide range of development approvals from official plan amendments to condominium registrations, with proven expertise balancing multiple projects and priorities while creating vibrant and sustainable communities. With her strong ability to foster relationships and cultivate a spirit of teamwork, Jessica’s dedication is a driving force in ARGO’s growth.

Kathy Roberts
Controller
Kathy is one of the original employees of ARGO and is at the heart of the team. Overseeing all administrative aspects from accounts payable to taxation, she is well tuned into the daily operations of the organization.
Kathy loves the complex, dynamic, and flexible nature of the industry and the collaborative efforts of the entire team to build some of the greatest communities in the Greater Toronto Area.

With over 15 years of experience, Kevin is a veteran in the land development industry. As a former stakeholder consultant and partner of ARGO, Kevin brings his expertise in project management for large-scale developments and master-planned communities.
Kevin has a strong knowledge base in cost sharing management, developer agreement negotiations, financial management, and budgetary controls. He is a master at managing multi-disciplinary teams and building strong relationships with stakeholders while delivering projects on time and on budget.

Laura is a Sheridan and Humber College graduate with many years of customer service and office management experience under her belt. She is a quick learner who brings her graphic design expertise and versatility in fast paced environments to the ARGO team. As the first person to greet the team each morning, her bright smile and positive energy are a welcome start to each day.

Armed with his experience, knowledge, positive attitude and drive to always make the business better, Matt leads Operations for UltraStor, the self-storage division of ARGO.

Matthew knows what it takes to create healthy, sustainable and livable communities. With experience in the full life-cycle of a development project from acquisition and due diligence through to approvals, construction and assumption, Matthew has been successful in delivering a wide variety of development projects to market across the GTA. Matt is a key member of the Lakeview team, where his passion for innovation and collaboration are supporting the development of one of ARGO’s flagship projects.

Nathan is a CPA, CA who joined ARGO after spending over 10 years with a national accounting firm as a business and tax advisor. Nathan leads ARGO’s finance department, supporting the ongoing growth and success of ARGO as it relates to financial planning and reporting, tax matters, and cashflow management.

Nancy brings over ten years of experience in the construction industry from condominiums, retirement communities, commercial buildings and high-end custom residential construction. Her expertise in construction contracts, bid documents, health and safety, budgets, scheduling and overall project management is a key asset to the growing business of UltraStor, the self-storage division of ARGO.

Accounting Manager
Paige Apperloo is an Honours Bachelor of Commerce graduate, working towards her CPA Designation. With diverse experience in accounting and customer service roles, she is a integral member of the finance team, managing multiple projects and priorities. Paige is quick, innovative and extremely detail-oriented, and her knowledge, skill and passion bring a fresh outlook to the team.
Scott Bland
President
As President of ARGO and a key member of the executive team, Scott oversees ARGO’s day to day operations and works closely with the development and acquisition teams ensuring successful project delivery and best in class performance. Scott joined ARGO in 2012 and has over 20 years of experience in all facets of real estate including property acquisition, project financing, land development & construction both in Canada and the United States. Prior to being named President of ARGO, Scott served as President of our Florida Division, overseeing the successful entitlements and build out of multiple residential communities in southwest Florida. Scott will drive ARGO’s growth strategy as we continue to be a leader in land development across the GTA.
Wendy D’Cunha
Project Accountant
Wendy holds a Masters Degree in Accounting and Finance and brings over 10 years of international experience in the construction, building and retail industries. With an expertise in all aspects of management accounting, alongside her organizational and detail-oriented skills, Wendy is a welcome addition to the ARGO team.
