Mississauga’s waterfront revitalization is moving forward at Lakeview Village
ARGO Development’s Lakeview Village project, a major development on Mississauga’s waterfront, is progressing with City Council’s approval of a by-law outlining community benefits and affordable housing requirements. The project will transform a 177-acre former coal power plant site into a modern, sustainable community, featuring housing, parks, trails, transit, and recreational spaces. It aims to boost tourism, foster innovation, drive economic growth, and attract a new generation to the city’s former industrial waterfront. Read more here.

Hockey Night in Brampton 2024 raises $14M for Brampton’s second hospital
On August 21st, a star-studded lineup took to the ice at the CAA Centre for the third annual Hockey Night in Brampton. Team Mitch Marner, coached by NHL legend Doug Gilmour, faced off against Team Max Domi, coached by NHL legend Wendel Clark, in an exhilarating charity game with proceeds benefitting the William Osler Health System. This year’s event once again supports the ongoing efforts to enhance health care services in Brampton, including the building of Brampton’s second hospital. The event raised an incredible $14M for the William Osler Health System Foundation, further solidifying Hockey Night in Brampton as not just a local favourite, but the largest charity hockey game in the history of Canada!
