Canada's most transformative mixed-use waterfront community.

LOCATION

Mississauga, Ontario

DEVELOPMENT STATUS

Active

AREA

177 acres

VOLUME

8,050 units

Lakeview Village promises to breathe new life into Mississauga’s waterfront as it transforms an abandoned coal-fired power plant into a vibrant, sustainable and connected community with a wide range of diverse housing, recreation, retail, employment, greenspace, arts and cultural features — rivalling world-class destinations globally.

As model for the 15-minute city, residents will live within a short walk or bike ride from shops, parks and transit; pedestrian prioritized streets and a new trail along the waterfront will connect to the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail that leads to Toronto to the east and Oakville to the west. The Innovation District will offer 1.9 million square of office space and will create an estimated 9,000 long-term jobs. Sustainable technologies including district energy and vacuum waste will also ensure a resilient future-ready community that meets Mississauga’s Climate Change Action Plan.

This milestone project has already earned several prestigious honours that include: 2022 National Urban Design Award of Excellence for Sustainable Development; BILD 2021 Best Sign Signage; 2021 Mississauga Urban Design Award; 2020 Brownfield Award; BILD 2019 Award Winner for “Best New Community Planned/Under Development”.

We have partnered with Canada’s most established residential builders for Phase 1: Tridel, Greenpark Group, Branthaven, Caivan, Deco and Opus Homes.
